Do you want to know if you qualify to be a surrogate mother?
Being a surrogate mother (SM) is an act of altruism for women who help others unable to carry a pregnancy. An SM is a woman who carries a baby in her womb for someone unable to conceive until the baby is born. Donor eggs are fertilized in the laboratory with donor sperm to form an embryo. The embryo is then implanted into the surrogate mother’s uterus, who carries the pregnancy until the baby is born. The surrogate mother has no genetic link to the baby and is not its biological mother. She is also referred to as a gestational carrier (GC). The GC will be compensated for her expenses and dedication during the pregnancy, as well as for two months after birth, with complementary medical services if not already covered, life insurance, and a monthly subsidy to cover social benefits (if not contributing).
